Hi everyone! Thanks in advance for taking the time to read about Mike and Emma!!

Mike and Emma fell in love in high school and have been married for just over four years. In 2023, they welcomed their daughter Dolly into the world, who turned 2 in March. She’s full of personality & light. Along with their dog Lilly, their little family has felt complete.

Emma is a talented cosmetologist and is working on opening her own salon. Mike runs his own lawn care business after being a stay-at-home dad these past two years. They make the best team, in life and as parents.

In November, they found out they were expecting their second baby, a boy!! They are so excited to see Dolly become a big sister.

But a few months into the pregnancy, doctors noticed some abnormalities. After several appointments and second opinions, their baby was diagnosed with Ebstein’s anomaly — a rare congenital heart disease affecting the tricuspid valve in his heart. It means that not long after he enters this world, he’ll need medical intervention & repairs.

Because of how complex the condition is, Emma can’t deliver locally. She’ll be giving birth early at Cincinnati Children’s, and there is a chance they will need to travel out of state, anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of housing, food, medical bills, and anything else they’ll need while they’re away. The goal is to help them focus fully on being together, caring for Dolly, and bringing their baby boy into the world with love and support.

Mike and Emma are holding onto faith and hope. We believe in a God who can do amazing things, and we’re praying for healing, strength, and that God would be glorified through all of this!
